Job Context
Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) is inviting applications for appointment on contract basis for the position of Research Associate (Short-term) under the Research & Policy Division for the "Parliament Watch" study, to be conducted under the project titled PACTA.
Responsibilities
• Guide Research Assistants in cleaning and compiling data for reliability and completeness.• Prepare data sets for analysis, ensuring all necessary steps are followed.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other research documents.
• Communicate regularly with consultants to collect updated information and ensure timely data collection
• Transcribe data from video recordings and enter it into the prescribed format, when required.
• Carry out need-based tasks as assigned by the researcher.
Special Instruction
Academic Qualification
• Must have a Master’s degree with Honours in Social Science and other relevant disciplines• Candidates with a third division or a GPA below 2 in SSC/HSC or a CGPA below 2.5 as applicable are not considered to meet the necessary requirements.
Other Qualification
• One year of experience in the research field• Computer skill in MS Office, MS Excel and Bangla typing
• Working experience in Parliament related study is preferable.
