Job Context

Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) invites applications for the short-term position of Research Assistant under its Research & Policy Division for the “Corruption in Service Sectors: National Household Survey–2025” under the PACTA project.


Responsibilities

Provide support in data management and documentation;
Assisting in data cleaning and validation;
Contribute to preparaing the draft reports;
Support to updating the data collection guidelines;
Assisting with relevant administrative tasks; and
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the NHS team.

Special Instruction


Academic Qualification

Masters with Honours at the Bachelor’s level, preferably in a subject from the Social Science discipline (in subjects like Economics, Sociology, Public Administration, International Relations, Law, Development Studies, Accounting, and Statistics, etc.);
Candidate with a third division or a GPA below 2 in SSC/HSC or a CGPA below 2.5 as applicable are not considered to meet the necessary requirement;

Other Qualification

Relevant experience in research or surveys will be considered an advantage;
Ability to work independently and under pressure; and
Any other tasks assigned by the management.
